Hegmataneh Industries Petrochemical Company (HIPC) was established in 2002.The plant is located in the province of Hamedan in the west of Iran.
The shareholders are as follows:
      Alaghbandian's family 57%
      National Petrochemical Company (NPC) 33%
      Industrie Generali asp (IGS) 10%
HIPC is the sole producer of medical grade S-PVC in Iran.The licensing, know – how, basic engineering and equipment are provided and supplied by IGS and ICC.The detail engineering
is carried out by TONDOK consultant engineering company.

The plant consists of the following units:
      The S-PVC unit with a capacity of 39,000 tones per year of PVC powder
         (fish eye free medical grade with K value of 70)
      The PVC compound (medical grade with a capacity of 9,000 t/y).
The plant also has the capacity to produce other grades of S-PVC.
